gjcaesar
About a week ago i started playing with the cs and have managed to create some nice worldspace lands, the only thing is EVERY time i save, exit, then reload my plugin the cs for some reason decides to modify huge chunks of my land with adding the heighest level of land possible being the most annoying as i have to fix that in landscape mode. Is there a setting im forgetting or do i have a buggy cs? latest patch is installedgame installed under e:\Games\Bethesda.....windows vista 64 uac is onHave reinstalled cs 3 times Any suggestions are welcome, ty in advance. Generally you only want 2000-3000 units difference between two points of ground. When using the landscape tool, you are usually unable to alter that area if the distance exceeds something like 2084 units between points, but in the heightmap editor, there is no prevention of this, so often, these sorts of probelms are frequent if you are using certain tool settings, or are randomly generating the terrain. When you go to save, you should be getting a message about any cells that have this problem, and if you don't quit the CS, you can alter those cells and save again to fix the problem. This is one of the reasons why you should never use the "yes to all" choice when an error comes up if you are planning on making ANY changes to a mod. gjcaesar
Vagrant0, you sir are a life saver. I had just finished spending 3 1/2 hours placeing my city walls when i got the "rainbow effect" again and i was ready to quit my Rome mod. Kinda odd that if bethesda knew of this problem they would put the default heights at such a wide range. Ty for your help and +1 kudos for you
