mattbatt2029
So for those of you who played GTA san andreas, one of the coolest features i found was the workout and changing of your body feature. I would love to see this in Skyrim, and there are plenty of reasons to do so. 1. Tons of skyrim body mods that could be implemented after a period of "working out" both male and female.2. Adds immersion, makes you feel like you earned the vanity that you present with your third person body.3. There could be added perks to working out, such as increased one-handed or hand to hand... Of coarse i am only a mod lover, not a mod author. So it is crucial that someone with the talents take this up because my attempt would be...sad to say the least. If anyone is interested in this please comment, i will check back daily, i would love to see this become a reality.
AnkhAscendant
I vote yes, as long as you can also get fat, slim down/get skinny, besides just getting buff. I want my character to evolve, but I don't necessarily want to be buff :P
mattbatt2029
Exactaly i belive there are fat mods for both male and female, the only problem being the huge duty of converting armors and clothes.i dont believe that animations for working out should be made, it could just use an object activation, and build from there. I could see very well however how buggy it could be to change entire body meshes in game. However there are mods such as the change body spell in Oblivion, that allow you to do such a thing. i just don't even know how to begin work on this thing. mattbatt2029
Of coarse to start off it would be simply changing the body to different meshes, maybe even textures. but if we got this thing solid, we could make not only ingame changers that deal with workout, but also tanneries and body trimmers, allowing the changing of texures on the body as well. Could you immage how expansive that would be!?!?!?!The newest update for skyrim allowed an ingame cosmetic sergen. I imagine it wouldn't be hard to i=make the same npc base a model for the ones who will change body shape and texture....
JanusForbeare
The hard part about this wouldn't necessarily be swapping out one body for another, but getting every item of vanilla (not to mention modded) clothing to adapt to the changes in the player's body size. Someone would need to make multiple meshes for 100+ pieces of armour and clothing, and you still wouldn't be able to use any modded armour without clipping issues or sudden body resizing under most circumstances. I'm certainly not saying that it's not do-able, but it would be a massive undertaking, and the restrictions on using modded armour would probably limit its popularity. See VORB for information on how a similar problem was tackled in Oblivion. Though that was a true labour of love, and is a great mod that I still use, it never worked flawlessly. But maybe even tagging along with one single body type and one sex to begin with, such as cbbe or unp for females and finding a way to use the Body slide tool to implement such a dream. This way the mods glory could be presented without being fully extensive and tasking. Players could experience an in game body change mod while still being able to use armors and clothes fitting the base modded body....sigh... i only wish i had the time and ability to undertake such a project.
