MacSuibhne
Thank you. I tried MO and didn't like it. I have the 'community' (latest) version of NMM now thanks the advice above. It's fine.
Moksha8088
The latest version of NMM 0.70.8 is your best bet since you already are familiar with it. It remains simple, intuitive, and effective. All the DLCs are available on Steam for the Skyrim Lesser Edition. They are included in Skyrim SE. The free Skyrim HD texture pack is worth getting and looks especially good when combined with Noble Skyrim HD or Skyland.
wanderingwanda
I just did a clean reinstall and am wanting to reinstall my original mods. i still have NMM in my download folder. Can I still use it to install mods on the Nexus site? I tried Vortex and couldn't seem to get immediately comfortable with it--the interface doesn't seem as intuitive as NMM. Also while I'm at it...originally I had the following mods installed:01 Update.esm02 Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp03 ClimatesOfTamriel.esm04 HighResTexturePack01.esp05 HighResTexturePack02.esp06 HighResTexturePack03.esp07 Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp08 ClimatesOfTamriel-Sound.esp09 Footprints.esp0A Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp0B SkyUI.esp0C WondersofWeather.esp0D iHUD.esp0E Helgen Reborn.esp0F Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp10 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.espSMIM-Merged-NoDragonborn.esp11 Real Clouds.esp12 Realistic Lighting Overhaul I am wondering about reinstalling 01 (the update.esm) as well as 02 and 07. Should I? Can I...? (are they still available?) I am still running Nexus Mod Manager, after it quit running with all it's problems, I went to GitHub site and downloaded the new update for it and have updated several times when nmm asks to download new one, no problems. Did not try Vortex. I am still running about 50 mods for Fallout 4. If you still have the old nmm, go to GitHub.com/nexus-mod-manager/releases and see if you can download the latest update, 7. something. Hope this helps if not good luck on your journey, because games just aren't the same without mods!
