kyektulu Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 I have Mod Manager and select files that I really want to download the MM has trouble installing, I get a message saying 'warning this folder contains esp files in sub directions' How can I repackage the zip files to make them compatable? ghastley Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 I just had exactly that. If the folder contains a Data folder point the Mod Manager at that instead of the top one. It's expecting to find the .esp file in the folder you point at. The use of the plural "files" threw me off the scent to start with, its really the subdirectory part that's meaningful. dezdimona Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 MMM contains seperate plug-ins for different things. make your omod with it, it should ask you if you want to use these plug-ins and should allow you to place a check mark or not next to the ones you want.Or you can extract the mod,go in to the folders remove the ones you dont want,re-zip it and then omod Here's a bit of advise.Read-me's were put in by the authors for a reason.Read them.
