TheFiletMignon
Throughout my play-through I've encountered this glitch where my first person camera becomes stuck in place and thus de-syncs with my third person camera. My first person camera is stuck as I cannot move around or look around (so I am stuck staring at one spot), but when I changed to the third person view, the movement I attempted in the first person view becomes evident in the third person view (my character is no longer standing in the spot where my first person camera was locked in place) . Simply put, the cameras are out of sync, the first person view is locked in place, and the third person view behaves normally. On a similar note, when I try un-equipping items or gear during the glitch my game CTDs; therefore I cannot play the game solely in third person just to get around the glitch. The trigger for the glitch seems to be random as sometimes I'm just walking around normally and then it happens or sometimes I finish talking to an NPC and then it happens. I tried disabling some relevant mods such as AIM-FIX, 3PCO, Wearable Lanterns, and iEquip individually to see if they were the culprits to the issues and the glitch still occurs even without them in the load order. I believe I correctly generated the FNIS data correctly using the FNISGeneration executable and correctly installed XPMSSE. So with this in mind, I am having a really hard time resolving the problem. Here is my load order: https://pastebin.com/mtjmCpCq Here is the papyrus log: https://pastebin.com/p6pCAQn5 I don't really understand the papyrus log so I just looked for lots of text that referenced specific mods in my load order. This was my reasoning for suspecting iEquip to be the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
anjenthedog
if you can find a nearby tool like a grinding wheel, an anvil, an alchemy table, an arcane thingamajig, a smithing table, a spinning wheel, etc, and if you can use it, (in the worst case glitch, even the selector becomes disabled) that'll often reset the problem (if I understand your problem correctly) . Well, at least that's what I've found Somehow it seems to reset both user controls and views. At least*most of the time. I have no idea what causes it. (I've even gone so far as to fast-travel to a city so I can fix the issue) . If you're in a dungeon when it happens... idk. try to get outside and then fast-travel to WhiteRun or somewhere there's a smithing setup close by where you teleport in. PS> I've tried all the console commands to reset things with no success...
