Temple Missions and Argonians

I started a game with an argonian and started doing some of the quest for the temple... I soon discovered that I couldn't complete one of the missions because you have to almost drown yourself, but argonians never drown!!! I'm I mistaken on this or, can an argonian NEVER be the leader of the temple?

Hm... a predicament. I thought that the Argonian's water breathing was an activated spell, like the Khajit's night eye. Have you tried drowning yourself? Or are you just assuming?

 

Otherwise I would say that you couldjust uh...hmm... darn I've got nothing.

Or you could do something rather drastic with the console; namely, changing your race in order to drown (presumed you can't drown with an Argonian) and then change your race back.

if its the mission i think it is you mean the puzzle canal??

 

how about levitate to the cellin and then drop in to the water?

if you are high enough in the air and you are on a fairly low level you should gasp for you breath because you hit the water so hard,which makes your enegry bar(red)appear instead of the breathing bar(green).so to catch your breath you must have lost your breath....so...i should work.

Or, just stop running the mod that makes water-breathing a CE enchantment. Completely unmodded, the Argonians water-breathing is a spell.

Correct. the spell, 'Argonian Water Breathing," is a Spell, not an Ability. Which means it's only active for the 120 seconds after it has been cast.
