Sudden NPC attacks for no appearent reason

I've been having a problem with a new game, as most of the NPCs that are supposed to attack in some condition seem to just snap and attack me, such as imperials that are walking with a stormcloak prisoner, the two companions that fight each other as you enter Jorrvaskr for the first time and Vilkas when he fights you for the Companions initiation quest. all of them suddenly became aggressive and attacked me for no appearent reason. Also, Vilkas only hit me once, the stopped, complained about me using magic and attacked me again. Also, I'm not sure if this is related but that imperial from Helgen, at the start of the game, semmed to bug as we got to the torture chamber, but there weren't any stormcloacks there, and he just stood there, weapon drawn, after a while, i gave up and went on without him, and he reappeared as i left the cave.

If anyone has any idea of of what the hell is going with this game, please help.

Hey, I seem to be having similar problems with all factions being aggro'd toward each other and within themselves, check out my post after yours to see if it matches your problem.
