Skyviper086
I'm tweaking a rife right now and I'm trying to figure out how to reduce the kick. When I use the scope and fire a shot the scope raises up way into the sky after each shot. I'm trying to figure out how to reduce that to make aiming better. I don't mind a little kick but its like the kicking is throwing the shot way way off. Any suggestions? Thank you.
devinpatterson
I don't mind a little kick but its like the kicking is throwing the shot way way off. Any suggestions? I believe the kick may be totally dependent on the animation. If so there isn't going to be an easy way to change it :( I hope I'm wrong, but that makes the most sense to me. If so, you'd have to fire up blender and take some frames out of the KF's, like a few frames before the highest point, the highest point and a few frames after the highest point. Weird thing is, I don't remember having any significant kick while using the scope (to be fair, my brain's half melted today, but that should still be something I'd remember), even on a AMR. So maybe the above doesn't apply with a scope, in which case I don't know why your getting it?
Skyviper086
I went back and looked at some other scopes. I think its like you said something with animation; however, I also found that how far a scope zooms could affect that kick I'm getting. So maybe I can decrease a weapons zoom, change its attack animation, change the spread perimeters and hopefully get a deadly snipers weapon that would allow me to place the round on the target correctly. Thank you devinpatterson you're a genius because you've given me an idea on how to fix this. Once again. Thank you for your time and advice ... I'll be putting it to use very soon. Deleted2547005User
The kick is directly related to animations.
