Marts Monster Mod can be confusing looking at for the first time to download. However help is here.

DL MartsMonsterMod 3.5.5FULL When you unzip it, use a separate folder on your desktop. It's 284MB

DL MartsMonsterMOD 3.6beta 3. Unzip it into the same folder as the one above, When asked if you want to replace files, select yes. This will upgrade them to the higher version. It's about 20 MB

Once you DL it, you'll notice quite a few "extra" esps. These are used to customize your experience.

Once you have it completed inside that folder, transfer the files over to your data folder, don't forget the textures, sound and meshes.

Another Mod that adds a lot of creatures is Oblivion WarCry. I have no idea why this one isn't hosted on Nexus. This mod is a german mod, but has been translated into English.

http://www.worldofelderscrolls.de/?fileid=12&go=dlfile It's 119MB

Also download the 1.08 patch for it and install over the other files when prompted. The patch is also available on the link above. Make sure when you put it into your data folder you put the EV or english version esp.

For these and other big mods like OOO and Francesco's merged with FCOM convergence, load order becomes very important. However, there's a simple small mod that auto fixes this in mere seconds.

FCOM helper:

DL the first file, then the 4th file which is a newer database for the helper to read. Since new mods come out all the time, he often updates it. both files are real small

thx for the info. right now i dont really want to use OOO and FCOM as they change a lot of the gameplay. i was mainly just looking to add more monsters to the game, both in numbers out in the world outside of dungeons and different types. since MMM changed some of the gameplay, i was a bit hesitant, but after reading some of what it does and the comments made here, i will probably use it. that other mod, warcry, ive never even heard of it. does it change game play much or just add in monsters?
