[LE] Creation kit weapon racks and plaques problems

So I'm creating my very first mod, so I'm new to this. I need help with creating weapon plaques and racks and getting them to work properly. I have followed Darkfox127 on youtube exactly and they keep placing weapons unside down or really crooked. I have rotated the activators and plaques themselves so they aren't on any zeros or right angles (0, 90,180..). I don't know what else to do or what I'm doing wrong. I also have some rotated so they are vertical plaques and I don't know if I should have rotated them the other direction to get them vertical, I don't know if that matters.

Thank you to anyone that has any suggestions or solutions!

Go to the Cell View and find the " WarehousePrefabs " cell and take a look on how they are made, explore but do not save after you have move around objects.

* keep a backup esp before doing this just in case you accidentally press the SAVE, or afterwards just run and clean your esp with Tes5Edit.

You can also COPY a weapon rack > go to your cell and PASTE it > then DUPLICATE the COPY > and DELETE the COPY > now do what you want with the DUPLICATED one.

You can also do the same thing using this Modders Resources, if you are afraid of dirty edits.

Best technique to learn to do things is to look on how vanilla stuff were made, the same way all those youtubers had done.

I just did what you said by looking at how there were made and mine are set up the same way vanilla is, linked ref and all. Is this just a glitch that can't be solved?

" I have rotated the activators and plaques themselves so they aren't on any zeros or right angles (0, 90,180..). "

This is well know bug of CK, i guess that by rotated you have done this :

If X, Y, Z = 0, 90, 180

It should be roteted to

X, Y, Z, = 1.6000, 89.4000, 181.6000

And not

X, Y, Z, = 0.0001, 90.0004, 180.0005

Edit : you don't need to rotete the plaques, but only the ACTIVATORS.

PLUS the trigger box should be " PLAYER ACTIVATION ". Check it in PRIMITIVES tab.

Not a glitch but a bug, but if done correctly, the Activators will always get triggered no matter what.

If you are still having problems, then just use the modders resources, it will save you some precious time and headaches...

Hardest part of this is when one fails. As then all the new copy's will do the same thing. Trick is to remove it, save then reload the editor.
Also some weapons do mount "upside down". They are meant to be that way. I once did a mod that took me about 12 tries to get one plaques in place correctly.
Skyrim don't always like things being perfectly lined up also (0, 90,180 exc). Lastly Skyrim don't always like one angle for sure. As in you may be able to place

a rack at a 90ish but then the 180ish will mess up. All in all it just takes many tries to get one that copy's correctly. Fixing a messed up one will not work out.

no its not only just upside down, I'm meaning it gets put on the plaque with only a faction of the weapon on the actual plaque, meaning it looks like it's on the wall with a plaque beside it
