Freecam & Debug console

Hi everyone,

 

Basically the only debug console that appears to work for me is the Freecam & Debug console one for 1.32 here:

Add money, skill points etc all seem to work. The only think I can't get to work is the additem codes, because the console seems to be opened and closed with F2 and '' quotation marks. So when I type an additem command and press the quotation mark key it closes the bloody window haha! Is there a work around for this please? I'm using a UK keyboard, and its the GOTY edition on GOG.

If you don't need freecam then just uninstall that and enable the debug console the clean, manual way by opening your \The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY\bin\config\base\general.ini file.

 

It should read something like:

[General]

ConfigVersion=2

Just add the line "DBGConsoleOn=true" to the bottom like so:

[General]

ConfigVersion=2

DBGConsoleOn=true

Save&close the file.

Next just load a save and keep trying the buttons on your keyboard until you find the one that opens the console for you ( "~" tilde key on most US keyboards for instance).

Hi yeh thats the thing i am on a UK keyboard, and for me its the key next to the tilde which is '

 

Because its this key its closes the console when ever i try to use the quotation marks for item summoning

Console commands don't really care whether you use single quotes or double quotes, or are you saying both of them are on the same console-activating key on your keyboard? Can always just Ctrl+C quotation marks from some text and then Crtl+V them on the ingame console. Edited September 15, 2019 by Partoutatix
