Shabdez Posted September 13, 2019 Share Posted September 13, 2019 I just can't get Sybill Stentor to give me her favor quest (favor109). I have already completed all other favor and radiant quests that might interfere and double checked that this is especially true for the other 5 quests mentioned in the Story Manager reference of her quest. Also the 2 Potema quests are completed long ago and of cause my character level is way above 10. The Blue Palace court scene when you enter the palace for the first time played out without any issues. I have not been to Pinemoon Cave yet, so the vampire there is still alive.Does anyone have an idea what is wrong? I got a note from a world encounter ("note from a treasure hunter" or something like that) that added a misc quest to retrieve a generic enchanted war axe from Pinemoon Cave. But I doubt this is the culprit. It only adds an item to the boss chest. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
anjenthedog Posted September 13, 2019 Share Posted September 13, 2019 I've played through her quest three times so far. there seems to be some interaction with other quests (and potentially, the player level) . first time, I got the beginning of her quest around level 20 or so. it wasn't until I was in my "40s" that I accidentally completed it due to wandering into the dungeon and killing the vampire master. the second time through (same character, but bumped back to level 16 due to some 1.5.80/2.0.16 drama that killed her high level version off). I got the quest and everything went as one would expect. The third time, with a new character (created during the dramafest with my female character), he got the quest beginning, but it took another several levels and various quests before Sybil would respond and give info to go and knock off the vampire master. idk, there's probably some breakdown out there somewhere that explains what's actually going on, but I haven't found it. Worst case, I suppose you can punt and go knock off the vamp she wants killed, then go see her, since you know where he's at. Well...that is, if you've at least gotten the initial quest trigger started.
