Porting asian Mods not so easy

I have successfully ported a vast amount of mods over time and of course a number I totally stuffed up, but that is how you learn. But I have now a number of companion mods that refuse to be ported. They are Chinese mods. I have converted there assets and checked with SSEEdit that the plugins a free of errors, fixed any errors that came up. I have also translated these mods as needed. But creation kit will not save these files. So any other error checking that could be done? Could the Chinese plugins be not compatible with the English or western version of Creation kit? Is it is possible to create a new esp and copy the old esp data ?. How do they get the milk into coconuts? etc etc

Any thoughts, musing, pondering`s please feel free to post.

Well, for one thing, coconut "milk" isn't milk at all; it's water with a white hue due to the "meat", if you will, of the coconut being white(-ish? Despite my Mom loving coconuts, I've never actually seen one, so I can only guess based upon Gilligan's Island, mostly). Granted, milk itself is mostly water too, as are all beverages, but true milk contains lactose, calcium, iron, and a few other trace minerals and vitamins, in addition to water, and (at least in terms of dairy/cows' milk bought at the grocery) is made from whey separated from curds. Lactose-free "milk" also isn't true milk; it's whey with the lactose processed out.

Have you tried creating an empty plugin and then using SSEEdit to copy the records over? Or how about deleting records until you can load it in the CK?

My guess is that it's caused by non-standard characters. Maybe try retyping any text that didn't need to be translated (don't forget the header and the filename itself).

I have tried the empty plugin and SSEEidit which did work on the first mod., which was a tease as that was the only one. Creation kit will load them with only a hand full of the normal errors from the Skyrim masters. So they are really clean mods. But when I either click save or save and push plugin to PC creation kit will not save, just close to desk top. In SSEEdit I did find some names and wording that was not correct and fixed those. Stuff like the Chinese name for Whiterun or NPC`s etc. Will try retyping the text though.

To some extent I have resolved the problems that I had. I reinstalled creation kit. I then found that I had for some mods converted them to a esl before I updated them to form 44. This was not a good Idea. For some mods this was not a problem. I also found that for some mods converting there assets with Cathedral Asset Optimizer before updating them to form 44 was also not a good idea.
