jmrussell89
Was messing around inside this mod named "Sanctum of the Fallen," however, whilst inside I noticed some glitches, I was no longer able to pull my weapons out to start with. After turning the mod off and reloading a save before then, I then noticed that Elemental Fury no longer would speed up my two hander speeds, and even through the console commands, it simply would not speed up. However, the left handed weapons still increase with speed as normal. Any idea what this could be and how to fix it? I'm stumped at this point. Sukid
I know it's almost a month old but bumping because I'm having this exact same issue and nothing I've tried so far seems to work. First of all I went through TES5EDIT to see if anything was changing Elemental Fury in some dumb way. Absolutely none of my mods touch elemental fury, not the shout not the effect and not the spell. Then I thought it might be an issue with ACE since it fixes the weapon speed bug but things break if something else also fixes it (which i assume would be the USKP or something.)Tried turning off ACE's weapon speed bug fix. still didn't work. Then I removed the "Beast nature" spell added to me by Werewolf Perks Expanded since it also boosts weapon speed. Still didn't work. (and I also discovered that the speed boost from the aforemented perk was working because I slowed down after removing it. But apparently it uses a different method than EF so I dunno.) Only thing I can think now is that there's some kind of script conflict or something changing how speed boosts work at all. bleagh.
sixpak
Same thing here, no idea. Using ACE, Better vampires can change things with swing speed ( current character not a vampire though ) , have dragonborn ascendant but it doesn't alter elemental fury.. i dunno. starfire42
Elemental fury doesn't work with enchanted weapons, a fact it usually warns you about if you try to use it with an enchanted weapon. However, , and I'm just guessing here, but if you're using a mod that adds an enchantment to the player or weapon, that may be causing Elemental Fury to fail to function without telling you why (it doesn't register the enchantment when it tries to run initially so doesn't warn you, but when it tries to actually implement it's speed-up effect, it notices an enchantment and doesn't apply it's effect). Download the creation kit, and take a look at how elemental fury is set up. Note that conditions on the spell or ability are checked only when the spell/ability is first cast. Conditions on the magical effect itself are checked every time that effect is used (i.e. a +dmg effect would be tested every time you hurt something)
