Yep he sure does, and he's also taking a shot at making hte android body. Which is good, because even though I can edit in blender I rarely make any original models. Pretty much the only faction that hasn't been represented by a companion through mods or the vanilla game is the Boomers, and I'm not sure how good of an idea it is to give the wonky companion AI explosives. She's coming along, but man what a pain. Something in the tactics dialog prevented her from talking to me so I had to revert to a backup esp. Lost about 2 hours there. Adding the voice sound files is about the least intuitive thing I'v ever done in geck, I mean seriously lame. And right now it's playing mp3's from geck but not in game, so I'm ussing ogg. But ogg isn't flagged correctly in the bsa's so hopefully I can find a mp3 file setting that works. Right now she has the basic dialog/companion wheel except tactcis, but if I can finish that up by tonight I'll put out a beta for anyone interested in testing her. Plus, and htis is really cool, she has an amazing cache of 50's knowledge, I think she is going to be an amazing asset to teh NV modding community :thumbsup: We still need some voice actor for Tommy Torini for some dialog to give Marilyn her first singing gig in teh NV wasteland. TrueSaiko Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 I love this idea! ..... i scrolled through the first page... and i had an idea i would like to offer: for the transfer to "human" body.... when i was browsing the massive number of mods on the nexus, i came across one in particular, which had a picture that i really liked: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/47969 the first picture shows two girls wearing that armor... the one on the left looks like an "android" .... and amazing. if that can be gotten or remade... or permission.... i think that would work very well. i am not very good at modding... no models, textures, or scripting... but i can fiddle with the geck... if there is anything i can help with, i would be happy to if it will help get marilyn going. OH! .... and another thing.... i always kill house. and because of that, i can't get my snowglobes into the lucky 38, because there is no jane... will marylin have an ability to put them in the suite under that circumstance? As much as an asset as a voice actress she's even better at 50's culture/history etc. That's invaluable when your trying to "anchor" something in the game world with actual a historical basis. But it's going to be fun. A lot of small details, like converstations with other securuitrons, situational/landmark comments (akin to Cass's), a fair sized companion quest etc. Most of it won't be in the initial release, but it will include a solid companion with a large amount of dialog. The one I like best is a shader suggested by Riven here is a pic; http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/images/930703-1350677169.jpglink The idea is that the android is a sex doll located in Cerulean Robotics (where fisto was). I really like the look. The only thing is it's applied to the whole nif and I'd like it applied to only the skin partitions or alternately a custom race skin with that high gloss. But the mr president we have planned for the Kimball assassination. We're also working on dialog for Marilyn and the king, since it was rumored they had an affair. Another interesting part is a copy of tranquility lane running on teh mainframe. House has to have some VR where his ladies entertain him and guests (since he's in a sealed pod and they are robots, VR is the only possibility), so I don't think it's a huge leap to assume that a captain of industry and one of the richest people on teh planet has a Mayberry-esqe pre-war idyllic neighborhood to unwind and be entertained.
