Is it possible to change my account name?

I made this account several years ago and chose this crappy name since I only made the account to bypass the 2MB file size limit; I thought I would never use it for anything else. Now when I am getting more active with the account I do not want this shitty name; is there any way at all to change it?

We don't "do" name changes, but we can assist you with changing your name.

 

NOTE: If you want to keep the same email address as is associated with your current name, then there's an extra step you must take first.

 

0. Change the email address associated with the "current" account. (Use a throw-away one if you don't have another.)

 

1. Request to close your current account here: Account closure requests.

 

2. Once current account is Banned, (you'll see s notice when you try to log-in) create your new account! :thumbsup:

So what you are saying is that making a new account is the only way; well that is unfortunate. I do not want to erase the history that is behind this account, and I want to have those little letters which say I joined over 4 years ago :(

 

Sigh, I guess there is nothing I can do about it, I will just keep this account.
