Should I buy a Ps3?

well the ps3 doesn't have 16 cores it only has 8 on one cell processor, half of the games these days don't take full advantage of the cell yet, except Littlebigplanet supposedly did.

the xbox 360 only has 3 symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each, compared to the ps3, the ps3 runs circles around it. Oops sorry thats kind of biased lol but so true.

I have the Ps3's 60gb edition with the full ps2 backwards compatibility, witch is great cause i have a tun of ps2 games. Man They sure did their home work when it comes to cooling, no over heating at all, its water cooled-with copper piping, it also comes with one huge fan, its always around 32c.

this is why you should buy a ps3

The games and the multi functions that it has, like the blue ray player.

Theres a crash racing game?

The only games that are exclusively PS3 games are Ristance 2 and GT5, Mirriors egde is a PC and Xbox game.

The way i look at it, is this. A PS3 as like 16 CPU's in it, it only uses like 4, Xbox uses all of its CPU's how ever many that is. PS3 has great graphics no doubt, what it lackes is in the FPS, Xbox on the other had doesnt have a huge issue with it FPS because it uses bump mapping instead of high detailed models. Some people think Bump mapping vs High rez models isnt a big deal but youknow.

(above pharaghrape for newbies, High rez models are in games like Crysis, as bump mapping are in games like Gears of War and Halo.)

Yes, Xbox has its problem, i wont dennie that, but so does PS3. What console doesnt? heres the big secret, all a console really is, is the left overs from what companies are making, Xbox 360 is a bunch or old random computer parts put togather (not letteraily) but so is PS3. If you want to play with the big boys, buy a upgradeable PC.

Enough said.

A) XanAlderon, Crash (as in crash bandicoot) team racing. It's an old ps1 game, but theres also Crash Nitro Kart (for ps2) which was, frankly, disapointing.

B) Naminea, you seem to have forgotten about Metal Gear Solid 4, (in my opinion) the greatest game ever made.

C)Xbox 360 controllers are CRAP! Everything is wrong. PS3 controlers are far, far better, and the triggers are triggers, not trigger-shaped buttons. Besides, most people my age played ps2's for the first part of their lives and therefore look upon any other controller else as bemusedly as a budgerigar-shaped turd.

A) Crash Bandicoot makes racing games now?!?

B) Haven't played Metal gear yet.

C) I have to agree Wasder, my hands have about molded to fit the Ps2 controllers snugly.

Mario Kart...arcade game??

Never heard of one.

One thing i've noticed on all the reviews of PS3 games is that they are more buggy than the other two systems.

On the fallout review it says that it is riddled with glitches, same with others (of which i've forgotten)

Is this a massive problem?

Glitches on the ps3 LOL, haven't found one yet, on the other hand on the xbox side now its riddled with glitches coming from experience. I couldn't type them all, because it would have taken to long to type lol.

I would have had to start a new thread.

Even Nintendo is good when comes to glitches.

sorry if this sounded biased but this comes from experience >:( .

off topic

lol this shows my true dislike against micro$oft, why because i really hate the way they do business, like for instants money is the number one priority. For example xbox live, i'm not paying for it ever cough rip off.

IMO, Little Big Planet and MGS4 are the only exclusive games truly worth getting.

I would have to disagree

The Ratchet and Clank series is the best thing play station has the rest is poo!
