kevkiev
I want a sentry npc I made to be able to wander around its sentry post (about 20x20 ft in NPC terms - one of those wood with sandbag ones like you see at camp golf), just enough to use a chair, a wall lean marker and an idle marker, but don't really want it to stray any further than that. Would a 512 radius do that? Is it ok to edit it to 256 or even 128? I'm assuming choosing a "no wander" package wouldn't allow for any wandering at all, but maybe I'm wrong? dubiousintent
Sounds like you want a "guard package" with a radius you set. (See also the "Combat Package Flags" entry about this package.) As for setting the radius length, please see the "Fallout 3/NV Game Units" article and the 'TIP Relocating objects to Player by script' under the "Scripting" section of the wiki "Getting started creating mods using GECK" article for a discussion about distance measurement. To help you further, there's a ruler with measurements of 64 units (1 yard) located in the Fallout New Vegas GECK under the ID of 'ruler'. -Dubious-
kevkiev
Thanks, I don't want a guard package but that other stuff is helpful. Cheers
