SushiLover
Would someone be willing to do a retexture of the Tesla-Beaton Prototype and the [Original] Enclave Tesla Armor? I know the Tesla-Beaton is supposed to be a "jury-rigged/prototype weapon", but damn those wires are ugly, and same goes with the Tesla Armor. Both of those items might as well break immediately after getting shot at from all the wires getting torn to shreds. I also know the Tesla Armor isn't in a location in the vanilla game, but anyone who had, or remembers Fallout 3 probably used console commands to get it anyway. devinpatterson
Ok made one for you, think I got all the wires. pic; http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u404/devinlpatterson/noWires_zps11e7e3ce.jpg It's here. I put it in a BSA so all you have to do is unrar both files (noWires.esp & noWires.bsa) into your data director and select noWires.esp in your launcher. Not tested in game. SushiLover
Not tested in game. I tested the Tesla-Beaton. There's no collision mesh (or there's a problem with it), and when I equipped it... well, it looked like it was already mounted on my shoulder even though it wasn't armed, then when I did arm it, it went cray and started to float. I'd insert an image, but I have no idea how because it asks for a URL, and the ones I have don't have a URL. The armor is okay, but I still feel it's unfinished. Edit to devinpatterson: Removed the text that made you think I wanted you to do more. Edited October 8, 2012 by SushiLover

I'll fix that up. The armor is okay, but I still feel it's unfinished. You're already working on the Scoped LAER so you can make this armor project a low priority or not a priority at all. What would be unfinished? You just wanted the wires taken off right?
VaultPi
hmmm, purhaps we could have a Faraday Cage, as a confinement item in an enclave base.....
SushiLover
What would be unfinished? You just wanted the wires taken off right? I'm just saying how I feel. To me, visually, it's unfinished. You however did exactly as I asked, which was your decision in the first place. It's not your problem, it's mine. Edit: Oh, I accidentally made it out that you had to do more, sorry, you don't. Edited October 8, 2012 by SushiLover

I should have realized something was odd about the Beaton when I first imported it into blender and it complained about not having a camera. Blender is knocking out some of the blocks when it's imported/exported (note I have import extra nodes checked, and export as weapon, metal etc). One must be a node that shows where the model static model is holstered and how it's held when drawn. It's also knocking out some of the special electrical effects as well. You may have noticed the "sparks" don't move. There may be some setting I'm unaware of in 2.49b, but I'v never had this problem with a weapon, so I couldn't say. Now the positions can be corrected through copying over the translation values from the orginal nif, or if need be trial and error in nifskope. The sparks can be fixed by copying over the appropriate blocks from the original in nifskope. But I don't have the time or inclination for either. So I'v stripped it out of the esp & archive so you can still use the armor, without the canon. Armor only
