HearthFire + Dov. Hideout

Has anyone been able to get the new DLC and the Dov. Hideout working together? All my stuff is stored there and it crashes every time I enter the Breezehome with that mod installed.

So is the problem you're having getting inside your house to reclaim your items, or just running both at the same time? Because if you just want your items back then I suggest you uninstall the DLC and then try to enter the house. If this doesn't solve the problem then maybe there are other factors affecting it O.o. As for running both at the same time though, there could possibly be a load order mix up. That's the first thing I check whenever i'm getting crashes, and a good majority of the time that was the problem. Sorry I couldn't be any more of a help to you!

Running both the DLC and mod at the same time, crashes upon entering house, disabled every other mod to make sure too. I might have to disable mod and move everything out of the hideout to another place. :/

The thing is that Hearthfire modifies Breezehome.

As the Hideout links to Breezehome that breaks it.

But it only breaks Breezehome.

If you can wait to use Breezehome then use the entry in one of the other homes or the one in Jorrvaskr.

The rest of Hearthfire works just fine for me.

The Hideout works just fine when I enter it from somewhere else.

And if you have read the discussion thread in the mod-page why not to add the Hideout to any other mod created home you know why it breaks Breezehome in Skyrim.

Here is the quote from migal130:

For example, say I link my mod to Shawk's Hideout. In order for followers to follow me through that door, I have to finalize the navmesh on both sides of the door. The next time Shawk adjusts his own navmesh and releases an update, my door to his mod breaks.

If you're fairly certain the other modder isn't going to continue updating his mod, then it's not a big deal. But if you aren't, you have to release a hotfix every time he updates his navmesh and if he touches the wall, floor, ceiling or whatever location where you put the door, you're screwed.

And unfortunately Hearthfire just did that.
