I ban @Drakefell01 because it seems curiosity kills not just the curious cat, but also any desire to lean toward learning something new.

I ban George Middleton for acting strange and not wanting to know the history of Tea Drinking in the Merry Land of England.

So I am just going to do a search with Google Search, on, What is the history of England's love for Tea Time?

The tradition of afternoon tea in England originated in the 19th century with Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford: 

 

• Origins

  The Duchess would get hungry around 4 PM, but dinner wasn't served until 8 PM. She would order tea and snacks like cakes and bread, and invite her friends to join her. 

   
• Popularity

  The tradition became popular with the Duchess's guests and spread throughout English society. It became a fashionable social event for members of polite society to meet for tea in the drawing room. 

   
• Democratization

  In the 19th and 20th centuries, afternoon tea became more widely embraced across social classes. Industrialization gave the middle class more leisure time and discretionary income, and more tea rooms and cafes made afternoon tea more accessible. 

   

Tea's popularity in England was also influenced by:

• The Portuguese

  The Portuguese Court favored tea, and a chest of tea was included in a gift to the British royal family. Catherine the Queen popularized tea among the British nobility. 

   
• Dutch medical men

  English philosopher John Locke developed a fondness for tea after spending time with Dutch medical men in the 1680s. These men contributed to tea's early popularity as a pharmaceutical.

I ban Pagafyr because SSE means Skyrim Special Edition... also Pagafyr is banned because he suddenly started posing again after such a long break... let me eat my dinner in peace please.
