Need Some Help Making a Replacer Mod

So I wanna make a mod where the player character's werewolf form is more dragon-like. I've looked for other mods that do this, but the few that I've found don't satisfy me. I did, however, find one were-dragon I liked, but it was a separate enemy rather than a potential player form, specifically the dragon-man from the Monster Mod, shown here.

I can tell from the way it looks and moves that it uses the werewolf skeleton and animations. So is there a way I can take that model and replace the player character's werewolf model with it? I'm not going to post the mod I make (if I can make it); this is purely for my own use.

Also, for the record: I'm playing on Special Edition, and using Mod Organizer as well as SSEedit and Bodyslide for my mods. I have a basic understanding of how these tools work.

Also also: if someone has already done this, please let me know!

If you're just replacing the mesh involved (the actual body), all you have to do is give your mesh the same name & location as the original. The easiest way to find that information is look in the Creation Kit, although you can also just extract the vanilla BSA contents and start exploring around in the files.

A third option is to crack open other mods that modify the player werewolf mesh, and see where/how those files are placed under the Data folder once installed.
