TehKaoZ
Just an Idea I had that i figured I'd throw out there. I play an Argonian and I always avoided becoming a werewolf (and now vampire lord) because i always thought it was strange that a cold blooded reptile race would transform into a warm blooded wolf creature. I figure that the "house pet" races are different enough that theyed have variant forms of these things. Argonians maybe transform into were-raptors or something. For the Vampire Lord maybe the Argonian would be more reptile looking or the khajiit more beastly. no changes to mechanics or anything, just the visual appearing of those races in beast forms. Just thought id share and see if anyone liked the idea.
Oubliette
Lycanthropy is a disease that transforms it's host from one race - into a mirror of it's own race. So no Argonians shouldn't have a different form other than werewolf when they've contracted that disease. Though in TES lore there are things such as Werecrocs - you only turn into a Werecroc if you contract the appropriate disease from a Werecroc. As for the vampire lords - I agree that's not exactly done well. Previous iterations of vampirism in TES lore were not very different from what one might normally expect, a pale version of the characters original race with piercing, more vampiric eye colors. However Bethesda does not have a great record with it's handling of vampirism, hopefully the modders will fix this oversight as they have done previously. The 'house pet' comment is just so full of wrong I'm not even going to touch that one though. I'd suggest going over to UESP and reading up a little on the lore of your favored races a bit more. I did see the werecroc lore somewere, it did sound interesting. but logically speaking diseases effect different organisms differently assuming they can transfer from one to the other. being that Argonian is a reptile it feels like if the disease can effect them at all it would work slightly differently. that's my take on it at least. the house pet comment was just a reference i heard assigned to those races on this forum. i didn't make it up =P
