Game and CS Crashes when mod is loaded

Okay, so I have been working on the same mod for 6 months now. :confused: Today I was working with conversation changes, saved the file and entered Oblivion to test. Once I got to the first logo, the game crashed. I reloaded the mod in the CS and once it reached 100% loaded the CS crashed again. However, when I deactivate this mod, the game and CS work correctly. :wallbash:

 

Obviously there is a problem with my mod, but is there anything I can do to save it? I have put far too much work into every small detail, I don't feel like trying again. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

What sort of changes did you make to the dialogues, what other changes have you made? How much RAM do you have, how large is the mod?

 

Is there any sort of message that shows up when you load it in the CS? On the bottom of the CS window, when it says what it's loading, what does it say before crashing?

 

Do you have any backups made for this mod, or have you been plugging away for 6 months on the same .esp without making a copy of your progress somewhere? The general rule of thumb for large projects is to make a backup before adding anything requiring fairly complicated scripting, any large number of new references, or significant additions (worldspaces, interior groups) to the mod. If working with a team, it is also suggested to make a backup before anything is merged into the main mod.
