IDKAPC Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 So I did what I have to (I killed her father (none saw me doing it)) but she and her sister still act like he is alive so I cant adopt her. NexBeth Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 You have to adopt her when she goes to the orphanage. So leave town for a few days then head to Riften. But first you must complete the orphanage quest Innocence Lost so that you are able to adopt children from the orphanage. Maybe you need a save prior to killing the father, finish off Innocence Lost, then go the Rorikstead, kill the father. Leave, wait a few days, then head to Riften. After completing Innocence Lost, I actually waited until I got a courier message from the orphanage telling me that children were available for adoption to be sure the adoption quest ran smoothly.
