esines Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 I can keep a smooth 60fps maxed with several HD texture packs normally. But, I just gave the ENB injector a shot and it really beats down my fps at times. Indoors, I'll usually get 60fps unless It's a large area with lots of intereacting npcs and objects (Like the brawl in the feast hall of clan Battle Born in Whiterun)Out in the fields fps is very erratic. It will be at 60 for a while but frequently plummets as I'm moving along and it struggles to load the upcoming terrain/npcs then go back up after a while.It is Horrible in towns. Starting out facing certain corners of a town I'll be at 60, then as I move along to other areas fps may go down to 20s or teens. Strange thing is, it won't go back up even if I walked back to the exact same spot where I was getting good fps (unless I reload the map). My Specs: 5970 (Crossfire card), I5 2500k 3.30GHz, 8GB ram Is there anything I can tweak get this running smoother? I've already turned off DOF, Ambient Occlusion and sharpening.
