addaco Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Some of the blades tell you that a few men can hold off an army at cloud ruler temple, well mayby there could be an activated mini quest that lets you play this. So you and the blades fight aggainst swarms of enamies (could be goblins, bandits ect.). You could barracade the gate and use a bow and arrow to snipe them off. Once there are too many by the gate (a certain number) they will 'break' the gate (the gate will just open) and then sword combat will come in. The quest could be activated by talking to a blade, asking you to go to a certain place on the map where they have rumours a enamy camp is there. Once you are close to the camp a message will apear telling you to go back to cloud ruler temple to warn the blades of enamy activity, from there the fighting starts. The fighting will end once a certain amount of enamies have been killed (relative to your leval) and obviously are relative difficulty to your leval. After you speek to a blade. ghastley Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 The problems I see with this are: Too many creatures at once = appalling frame rate. Defense of Bruma mob fight was as bad as you realistically get. A good siege needs more than that. Gates need to be closed, so no going in and out to do other quests until this is over, which is counter to the entire game design, and that also makes it very hard to achieve. How do you turn off fast travel during the siege only? Who's essential during the action? What happens if X gets killed? Does this break the MQ?
