From looking at the types of compression used for files on this site, I decided to post a quick compression guide grabbed from http://www.kikizas.net/en/apps.7z.html

 

Basically I'm asking all modders to use the best compression ratio for what they are doing, thus alleviating bandwidth and server space, this is a free service we are using, so those of us who don't donate should at least try to keep our uploads small and clean.
