w0t
I've been playing around with texture replacement, only chessboard textures to see what I can replace so far, but the pip-boy is giving me trouble! Might be something with the folders inside the pipboy dir, but replacing pipboyarm01.dds doesn't work for me.. Anyone replaced textures on the pip yet, or have trouble with some other replacement? Here's a small tutorial: In my documents\my games\fallout3 there are fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini, in both you need to set bInvalidateOldFiles to 1 instead of 0.Install nvidia's dds converter (also installs a photoshop plugin), so you can convert and import/export texturesUse ScripterRon's BSA unpacker to unpack the Fallout - Textures.bsaPlace replacement in Fallout 3\Data\<original dir inside bsa> Nvidia texture tools: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nv_texture_tools.html (useful stuff!)ScripterRon's tools: http://ronald.hoffman6.googlepages.com/home
sapjes
Yo, Did you add the DDS to the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file ? And what format are you saving the DDS file in ? I'll look into the pip-boy texturizing when I get home
