jyujinkai
I'm currently doing my first play though and have been playing with a perks calculator to work out what i want to do now I find out that you can not reset this... (I think I have a fwe perks wasted) Anyway, I am a casual player... and was wondering what the kind of average level is that most players get to besides the hardcore that spend hours grinding and using non-rp tricks to artificially level your character? I heard the cap is 50, but that you can also get to 81... When calculating my skills should I aim for 50? Or is 81 where I will be at teh end of the game? StayFrosty05
I certainly wouldn't call myself a casual gamer (quite Hardcore I guess) in regards to Skyrim and a very small handful of other games.....I am a serious RP gamer and the highest I have managed to reach is level 54.....To reach level 80 you have to use every skill or as you say console it and artificially level up.....I play a Stealth/Archer/Duel Wielder/Light Armor/Smith/Alchemist....with fairly heavy Lock Pick and reverse Pick Pocketing thrown in.....Level 54 seems to be my limit....could possibly push up to 55-56....but that would be the absolute level out for me. AnkhAscendant
If you use the Uncapper mod then basically unlimited, since your skills can level past 100, but 50ish is probably a good number for your calculations. It depends on what skills you use. I have a pure mage (the only character I've really played with) who got to level 51 with Sneak, magic skills, and the three crafting skills (I like to make things, but I never use them ^^; ). He has a couple points from one-handed and archery from assassinating people, and light armor where I'd forget to take off some enchanted gauntlets or boots, but not enough to account for more than one or two levels. That's balanced out by the fact that none of my magic skills were actually maxed out and two of them are less than 60. Honestly I think that if you're calculating out all your skills to find your perfect perk plan, you're more hardcore than I am. :P
jyujinkai
Well the plan is to make a battle mage. When oblivion came out I wanted to make a mage that was a dandy... as in wore fine clothing and stuff. The idea was that there was no armour, no weapons.. just a dude with some skills and can pop out a bound sword and cast a mage armour and be a awesome wizard. I like the idea of playing a toon like that witch dose not use all the "awesome" looking weapons and armour.. just a mind mannered scholar that is a boss!! Anyway, in oblivion it really annoyed me that I couldn't do this as perks are not refundable... so I though on this, my first play though I would spend a few mins in a perk calculator and try and work out teh skills I need to pull this off... I am also planning to use this mod Leazers Bound Armor Though I only want the bound shield.. This is the rough build I am looking at I know it is not exactly right but I just want an idea of where I am heading. Honestly I think that if you're calculating out all your skills to find your perfect perk plan, you're more hardcore than I am. :P lol.. yeah I guess I walked into that one.. I just do not want to play teh game for 6billion hours and have my wife leave me cause I am not feeding the kid!!
