Game wont start with taking notes mod + simple children and warriors in training getting to work?

I need help getting Take Notes - Journal of the Dragonborn to work. My games runs fine without the mod. No problems, no crashes but everytime i try to install it with MO2 and start it with skse the locking window disapears as if i never started the game. Removed the game works fine again. The other question i have is if someone knows how to get simple children and warriors in training to work. Running both mods results in brown faced potato children.
