jkaster
yea guys i have a Asus laptop running on a 64x vista home Prem. NO console and when i press ~ i get nothing. no pause. I also couldn't find ehome in the add/remove program screen but if i search my HD it shows up as ehome in a windows folder. I have no idea how to disable it without messn' up more systems. help would be appreciated
flyingv3152
From what i know [dont hold me to it] the asus computers do not use the tilde "~" key they use something else. i dont know what it is or where it is but the only reason i know that is because my computer has the ehome stuff and i cannot access the command consoule. i have done lots or research on this and i have not found anything that will go around this or fix it :wallbash: . so, what does the ehome do? is it important? cause i have several drivers that use the ehome. if it is not that important i will just disable it but if it is important i dont want to mess with it. any advice would help thanx. SkyWraith
Reviving thread to post another solution (since google directed me here for this issue): Try setting your keyboard type (control panel / region and language) to US. This fixed the tilde being detected in fallout new vegas as key 148 for me running fallout in a win7x64 parallels vm on a macbook air 2013.
