MrCooper2006
Cant help thinking after playing all weekend that Beth has taken some inspiration from a few Oblivion mods out there... Namely Tamriel Travellers.... Deadly Reflex.... few others that I cant remember now. This is great as its improved over Oblivion and looks like theyre paying attention to what WE thought would be good. To me its like a "technically" improved Oblivion, but only from the tech side. Slugworld
Hi, Yeah I noticed that when playing too. The OOO opening container animations. I think they have been looking at the mods for influence. I cannot think of any better way of improving a game than looking at the creations that the community has produced for it. I noticed some other things from mods but can't remember them now. Doh! :wallbash:

rickgamer
Yeah I have also noticed this, I thought it was pretty cool they are using the mods people made for Oblivion, the one's that I noticed where the key chain and the dog (Cheydinhal pets)
Mrpnut08
Yea seen quite a few mods... the coolest thing Ive seen is that deadly reflex is now an integrated part of the game engine( THERE'S EVEN A PERK THAT MAKES IT EVEN BLOODIER!!!!!!....also it looks like V.A.T.S was inspired on the mod) i now love when i snipe that super mutant head and watch the "bloody mess" he makesas his headless corpse falls shamefully on the floor  and with it they also make us realize how the modding community is important to them andthat we are a source of inspiration and support were their anonymous partners :thanks: :starwars: :thanks:
MrCooper2006
Thought another blatantly obivous one... CM PARTNERS MOD!!! They even have the same options as the mod does, albeit less of them. The partners are nowhere near as good as the mod for Oblivion but its still a step forward. (even tho my so called partner shot me in the back for stealing from a dead Scavenger, so i had to blow her face off)
Slugworld
Yeah shooting heads is lots of fun! I miss the Quick Shot perk from Fallout 2, it removed the ability to shoot body parts however the cost of firing was reduced. It allowed you to shoot more times with the same A.P. Perhaps they will introduce more perks with the expansion.... From what I can see there are more than enough Perks to keep me happy though. 8)
MrCooper2006
With the expansion...? Is this confirmed or you just speculating? Havent completed MQ yet so dont know what the ending leaves...
WoogieMonster
SPOILER Considering the ending to the main quest, an expansion doesn't really seem possible. Not unless they do something stupid like t.v. shows in the 80's, when they'd write off a character and then later realize that was character everyone liked, so a new episode starts with someone waking up from having just dreamed that the person was gone.
