succubus bodyslider not working

I'm very new to modding anything (I've spent over 16 hours trying to figure out how to mod my game), so bear with me if I'm being an idiot. I'm having issues with the succubus race body. I managed to get it working with the body alone yesterday it was exactly the way I set it up. I don't know how I got it to work, but I did make a preset in the CBBE body group. The armor replacer I had isn't compatible with bodyslider, so I uninstalled it and replaced it with a compatible one. I finally got all the outfits the way I wanted and used the batch build to apply all of them. I had to use a new preset to do it though, but it worked in-game. That is for everyone except for my character. So I went back into the bodyslide tool and tried a few more things. I made a new preset that was grouped in with CBBE body, CBBE Body HDT, and all of the armor replacers. I didn't want a conflicting preset with the identical one, so I deleted the first preset that worked in-game. The problem is now that my character lost her custom body. I've been working on it for hours now and though it looks like it's all working fine in bodyslider, it doesn't seem to apply at all to my character. (not sure about the npc's as I'm not near any at the moment.) I've been batch building, building, saving, deploying the mods, updating the files manually in the succubuslite folder, using (use newer files) when asked by vortex but I haven't seen any changes. It's still the same cbbe body that looks like it's the slim version instead of curvy. The slim sliders don't work on bodyslider so I can't adjust those. Everything was working fine before I attempted to get the new armors to fit my custom preset. (Side note: I also noticed the npc's have body physics while my character lost hers during the first change)

I think the load order is fine, but I might have made a mistake somewhere with either the files or the bodyslider. Any ideas on how to fix this? All the videos I've watched always skip the part between finishing up the build and starting up skyrim.

The body specific mods are;

Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition v3.4

BodySlide and Outfit Studio v4.8.0

HDT physics Extensions

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended

Racemenu

RaceCompatibility All-in-one NMM Installer

Feminine Running animation v1-1 BBP

Succubus Race 1.7.6 Oldrim

KS Hairdos HDT physics

Remodeled Armor for CBBE BodySlide HDT - Replacer

Remodeled Armor CBBE Bodyslide HDT - Craftable Panties (I know, I'm weird)

I don't know what the difference between CBBE body and CBBE body HDT (and anything HDT in general), so if someone could explain that too, that'd be great.

If you need a screenshot of my mods or files or whatever, let me know.

I'm an idiot so don't assume I know even the basics of modding.

I have a correction to make... I have two saved games where I play as a succubus. I stopped playing the first when I couldn't get a weird physics issue to stop. (apparently one boob wanted to absorb the other) The second game was going well, until the issue I described above occurred. I switched to my first game and the body has been fixed, though not what I had created in bodyslide. The armor however seems to have been cursed with ever growing melons. They were freaking huge and glitching all over the place. So I am now even more confused. Why is one game so different from the other when they both use the same mesh files? The first game has almost the right customization with a little too oversized armor, while the second seems to be stuck with CBBE Slim when it used to have the correct customizations. I'm thinking it's got something to do with my presets in bodyslide and outfit studio.

I'm an idiot... For anyone in the future who has similar problems, this is how I fixed it.

First, make sure you have FNIS installed.

Uninstall then reinstall your skeleton mod to get it working properly. Some mods change its files a bit, which might cause issue.

When using bodyslider, note that the nameless scaling in the preview. That is its weight, which is set to 100 by default. This means that once in the game, make sure your weight matches that scaling to get it looking the way you want it.

The succubus race worked perfectly once I installed the missing required mods and reinstalled XP32 and set the weight to max. The armor went to normal and my character got her physics back.

So in short, make sure you read everything in each mod you install and install all of its requirements. Modders include troubleshooting that can be rather useful and can prevent endless hours of being clueless.
