Frankinstein745 Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Hello, i recently bought fallout new Vegas from the stores at gamestop, this bought copy did not work so i took it upon myself to crack my own fallout from the files i bought (so i didn't pirate so please don't accuse me of doing so) i got this game working about a week ago with my created crack. I found just a few days ago that most if not all mods do not work, and i am having trouble find out why this is. so please if anyone has any idea how to make mods work with my cracked fallout please let me know. i know that some mods wont work cause my script is not official. and i know that some mods depend on it. but mods that don't i cant find or don't know what i am looking for. so if anyone cant help me let me know. also if anyone can link some mods that don't depend on the scripting so i can be sure that i am not just choosing the wrong mods. thanks in advance for the help DetailsI installed this games to me C: drive/ Program Files (x86)MY computer is more then powerful enough to run this game and games with much more demanding graphics or size. if you need more details let me know. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MeinName Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 AFAIK you can connect fallout new vegas to a steam account, so I would suggest as a work-around so to speak to connect it with your steam account, deinstall the game completely and then download it again from steam.Games downloaded from steam aren't very likely to be broken so maybe that will work...Since you bought the game that could possibly remove your need for (a) crack (bam! bad pun!).And with an intact installation of the game all mods should work just fine...
