dezdimona
they don't work because now you've changed the path that ob used to find the mod,you would have to put each item in NifScope, and create a path using your file names and it all needs to be changes every file and every nif path. then go into the cs and your doing a ton of work on the off change something might get overwritten. What mods are you talking about for starters.example: data/mesh/clothes/mod name/f...now you change one file name and now the pc can't locate that data anymore
Khet
Despite the fact that it asks to overwrite the folders, it is actually MERGING the folders. So, if you say yes to the folder 'overwrite' it will actually add the new folders into the old one (aka: The downloaded Textures folders with the install Textures folders) so you really won't lose any old textures, meshes, or what have thee. So, final tip? Do not rename folders. Online times overwriting may become a problem are the files themselves which should RARELY happen unless your downloading an update for a mod you currently have. Usually mods come with their own folders such as Data/Textures/HisMod and Data/Textures/HerMod
