Aleitheo Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) So I've taken a sword and I am trying to create an alternate "ancient" version of it. I've used this tutorial which I have used before for some clothing and this forum thread (specifically the last post) for transparent textures in order to have "chips" in the blade. The sword used alpha textures for transparency which sort of shown up in Nifskope. After taking the sword into the game it appeared to work with the ground version of the sword having the rusty and chipped texture I wanted it to have. The problem is the equipped/inventory version had the default texture of the sword. The odd thing about this is that when I looked at the model in Nifskope it appeared to have the edited texture to both the ground and the equipped/inventory versions of the sword. As far as I know I followed the instructions in both the tutorial and the thread yet the new texture is only applying to one model of the sword, not both.
