OstrixTheOstrich
Yes, yes, I know, I know, probably a question that can easily be solved and has been solved many times before, but I really don't know what to do: I've checked the mod page and stuff, tried updating to the latest version, etc. But I just can't get my character to stop T-Posing. Here's the log:>>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. If you use SKSE, this can be fixed by starting Skyrim once through Steam.<<FNIS Behavior V7.5 2019-10-10 2:10:06 PMGenerator: C:\Games\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\FNIS Behavior 7.5\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exeSkyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones) male: Default (99 bones)Patch: * DServant's "Archery Gameplay Overhaul" (CTD:0.1%)>>Warning: * DServant's "Archery Gameplay Overhaul" not installed<< Reading FNISBase V7.5 ... Also, I *do* have AGO installed, as well as Ultimate Combat (Apparently can't find the plugin in the plugin viewer in MO2 for some reason though), this log was trying without UC. Sorry for being yet another of "those people". I've been really wanting to play this game again and have finally gotten it to launch by finally merging a bunch of plugins. Also, when updating to the newer version, I did get a warning from MO2 saying I probably didn't install it properly, so just putting that out there cause maybe I didn't. Idk. help plz xD
fore
MO2 was right. Go back to the FNIS/MO2 installation instructions, and see how FNIS has to be set up PROPERLY. The problem of our easy-to-use mod managers is that so many users simply have no clue what the folder structure for Skyrim has to be. When you had to install manually you had no choice but learn where everything is located. But today? Inexperience everywhere. I have seen hundreds of reports about FNIS "errors" where simply looking at the presented path should immediately lead to the solution. You have an FNIS path C:\Games\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\FNIS Behavior 7.5\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exewhere it is apparent that there can't be anything like "FNIS Behavior 7.5\Data" inside of data. The proper path isC:\Games\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

Sorry for wasting more of your time. But thank you for letting me know anyway. I sincerely apologize for adding to that number. Edit: Crap. Animations still aren't working ingame. Here's the log. I'm thinking maybe those incompatible files are troublemakers? Although I fear I may break something by removing them. >>Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory. fore
You are using FNIS for Oldrim.
anjenthedog
I've had issues with FNIS under two circumstances 1) when installing a new version of FNIS, I forget to run the initializer (see FNIS for instructions). There's an executable in the FNIS directory that has to be run to initialize FNIS... (can't recall the name offhand and am not on my Windows 10 boot right now to check) 2) When I have an incompatible mod installed The second case is random. Some will cause it, some don't. I think the last time I encountered it was when updating some animation mods and accidentally selected a Skyrim LE version of a particular mod instead of its SE counterpart.
