DylanHollis
Do forgive me if this topic has been risen before, I did spend a good amount of time scouring for such.I've lip synched at least a thousand lines of dialogue in my time, but I've never come to understand the original generation of .lip files as it pertains to robots. Vanilla Protectrons & talking activators (speaker boxes) etc... they all have a glowing emissivity that corresponds to the gain & volume levels of their given voice file; very similar to what an EQ visualiser or VU metre would output. It may be a stupid question, but is this route of generation possible for new files to be applied to new robots? From what I know we've been resigned to use TES functionalities for .lip files, or repair the geck's synching capabilities with skyrim assets - but surely these will not generate appropriate glowing .lips for robots? seeing as those implementations aren't in either game? Leaving robots without a reactive glow during dialogue feels flat, and renaming original .lip files from robots into new dialogue is better, but is still jarring. Any help or direction to the appropriate discussion on this would be much appreciated,Dylan Hollis(Rockwell guy)
