reaper9111
CS Isn't too hard to learn really. I actually managed to (in about a month or two) learn the CS while making an entire city by reverse engineering scripts to work for my mod. A very basic knowledge of scripts is needed for that kind of thing (how to use If/Then, how to read scripts, End tags, just the simplist stuff) and a bookmark to the TESCS Wiki helps too! Only reason I've basically scrapped that mod is because I could never think of ideas for it. I might just go ahead and release it, let folks play through it and get their ideas.... yeah i'v check the cs already, is just that im not patient... this is my major issue, patience ! but i know that if i really want and if i push it i would be able to do something... like i said if ! but for now, ill stick at annoying modders whit my idea...lol... ihateregisteringeverywhere
Wuh? What does the CS have to do with getting good pictures of your drawings? No, in all serriousness, a scanner always comes in handy. As far as the CS goes. It's realy simple. No, not too intuitive, nor well made. But there aren't that many things you can do in it, so the amount of things to learn is realy miniscule. Hah, as a matter of fact if you know how to use MS word, then you're able to learn how to use the CS.

ihateregisteringeverywhere
I didn't say "If you know how to type in MS word" but if you know how to use it. There's a difference, fskin ms word has ten times as many gizmo's and gadgets than neccesary to write a fsckin covering letter. Just look at the amount of menu's and menu items it has, In case you know each and know how to use each, then learning and using the CS'll be a cinch. Now get'off'a'mah back. I've no interest in your prejudice towards the CS.

Khet
Wait... how do you get that image in Blender? I sat there alt-tabbing, trying to get it to work, and come to find out you can place down an image IN Blender to help?! I gotta figure out how to do that. (And sorry ihateregisteringeverywhere, thought you meant if you knew MS word you could even do the scripting. :D)
ihateregisteringeverywhere
Neah :P you'd have to understand excel to be able to understand scripting lol :P. I usualy don't use the spline tools that modeling programs offer because I'm used to work in much stronger applications concernig vectors, so I just usualy draw the basic shape in corel draw lol. I'm crazy, I know.
xxXEvandarXxx
To get a background image in Blender you go to the View menu and press 'Background image' and then you choose the image you want.
