Javascap Posted October 12, 2019 Share Posted October 12, 2019 (edited) I started the quest in the Falkreath jail a while back, and made the mistake of leaving the jail before Sinding did his big breakout animation and after recieving the objective to kill the White Stag. When I went to Broken Mans Grotto to join the hunt, all I found was a quest point marker leading to the rocky outcrop where Sinding should be, only instead of Sinding, there were only bears. Attempting to use player.moveto to the various reference IDs for Sinding indicates that he is still in the Falkreath jail, but there is nobody physically in the jail cell. I attempted to use PRID on all the reference IDs relevent to Sinding to move him to Broken Mans Grotto, wait 24 hours, and go back in. None of these worked, and I have no idea what to do to fix the quest. At this point, I'm seriously considering forcing the ring off, giving myself the Ring of Hircine, and ending the quest with console commands, but would rather avoid that if I can. Any ideas? nexuskomrad Posted November 1, 2019 Share Posted November 1, 2019 I have the same issue. I waited for him to escape after her turned into a werewolf in his cell, but he just stood there. I got tired of waiting and left to continue the quest. I've cleared the grotto and don't see Sindung anywhere . He must be stuck at the jail cell. I'll go back to Falkreath and try to "unstuck" him. nexuskomrad Posted November 1, 2019 Share Posted November 1, 2019 I couldn't fix the quest . I waited 4 days in Falkreath and the Join the Hunt quest marker moved to the Falkreath barracks . Singing was not there . I loaded a save from right after I talked to him and he was in his jail cell in werewolf form. I killed him with my bow , and then clipped through the bars to skin him . Hircine appeared and gave me saviors hide and took to cursed ring . I wanted to do the hunting quest, but at least I got the hide for Aela to wear . Good luck with fixing you game .
