Notomasa
Not necessarily remove the files and mods itself, but rather switch back to the original UI. I know that nexus mods usually work with their .esm/.esp files and that I usually disable them just by deleting the .esm/.esp file and restore it later when I want to use it again. Why do I want to disable SkyUI? (well... temporarily at least) because I have a brother that prefers playing with SkyUI while I'd rather stick with the old UI. Plus it makes the game loading screens longer sometimes.

OakRain
Because Sky UI has no .esp the only way to revert to vanilla UI would be to remove the files that SkyUI installs. Open the archive you downloaded to see which files you need to move. Once you have done it a couple of times switching the files in and out wouldn't take very long at the beginning of a play session if you really want to play with the default UI. AnkhAscendant
Actually, SkyUI does have an .esp, so if you just uncheck the box my nifty arrow is pointing to then you'll disable it. (No need to delete anything, which makes it easy for him to turn it back on when he plays.)
OakRain
I think it depends on SkyUI version Ankh - I have no .esp for it and couldn't find one for it in my downloads drive.
AnkhAscendant
Maybe you're right; I'm pretty sure I got it from Steam, so if you want an easy way to activate and deactivate it that might be the way to go. (I suppose mods on Steam can't not have an .esp.)
