mewarmonger
They all look like odo's hair from Deep Space Nine. Some are completely bald. I had 2 other hair mods and deactivated them just in case they were conflicting. Still didn't work. Warning on the mod manager said there was a new version, but clicking on it just takes me to the same page as the original download. Using the mod manager's auto-updater didn't do anything. anjenthedog
Maybe you accidentally installed the Skyrim LE (oldrim) version by accident?
mewarmonger
Says sse in the name. I assume that means it's Special Edition.
Baer2x4
When you say, "same page as the original download," do you mean the description page? If so, click on files tab & check there. This may sound too basic but I have no way of knowing how new you may be to modding.
mewarmonger
I just installed the game 4 days ago. Took me 3 days to get it working without crashing. Conflicting mods, install these files here, but watch out! Don't click that one or New York goes up in a nukumous fireball! lolI mean, I literally had the page open where you download it, and when I click the link in the mod manager that says a new version is available, it literally opens a new tab to the same page, so I have 2 of the same pages open. But, I did what you said. I clicked on the files tab and it's downloading something as I write this.
mewarmonger
Well, whatever was in that file was pure evil. There were 2 files, male and female hair. I downloaded the female hair. I tried with the mod manager first, and it said error and gave up. So I downloaded and installed it on the mod manager manually. When I started a new game and changed the avatar to female, the game froze. Uninstalling it now. lolAnd I still don't know why the original KS hair doesn't work. Baer2x4
Well at least you're keeping your sense of humor, lol. We'd need your load order to be of any real help. Add: BTW, there are several people on Nexus that have posted basic stable mod lists for the new to modding. Something maybe worth googling?
