Khet
I liked this statement. A lot. I read that far before the thought of some witty sarcastic response from you crossed my mind. :( I've been on the internet too long if I judge setences before reading them. But, like I said before, DR is a buggy mod. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When I first started using it, it would (literally) be a gamble on whether or not the mod would actually -work- every time I launched Oblivion. If nothing aside from the shield bash hotkey assign comes up then I would either try an older version, or redownload and reinstall the mod and overwrite any current files. If it was an OBSE problem (you're OBSE version too old, blah blah) it would still crash on startup just as if you didn't have OBSE at all.

Shadowcran
I don't have anything against a mod you can DL for free. Why should I? I don't like the essence of the mod in that any problems are often ignored despite numerous threads like this one asking for help with it. The mod is ok, but not worth the trouble a lot of people have when trying to use it. I don't know if it's people with Vista, or just that the mod is particular, but people need to know there are alternatives than to have this game slow or stop their gameplay so that they have to waste their free time asking us for advice about it. I'm dead sure they'd rather be playing the best game in the world, rather than trying to get a problem fixed. Yeah, I was in a silly mood when I wrote the guide to getting it to work. I just wanted to amuse myself with a laugh and perhaps others. However, when a mod is buggy and you call it what it is, that's not bashing, that's just an analogy. And all this time I thought you were bashing. :P I stand corrected. :)
