Introoducing my character

Name: Corlona

Race: Elf

Age: 216 (looks around 20)

Fighting style: Usually magic, but moves faster than any human with a short-sword

 

History: Born in the forests of Rellinari, Corlona was the only child of the elves for 20 years. As a result of this, she is hugely independant, and shy around others around her age. She quickly became ditinguished in her city at crafting with magic. Able to control her magic to an extent that enables her to inscribe patterns on a cerimonial sword, she crafted the dress weapons for the King and Prince of the Rellinari elves.

Around fifty years later, at the age of 85, she began her quest to adulthood, a rite of full initiation in Rellinari. After completing the quest, her skills made her the best candidate to carry the King's sword, which she had crafted, to the nearby camp of humans, as a gift to their leader. The gift was intended to stop a war, as the elves usually hated killing. The gift failled to impress the humans, as it was too light to inflict any damage without the elves grace and speed. The leader of the humans, a woman called Frillan, told Corlona that she would not invade Rellinari, as long as Corlona crafted a sword fit for a human.

Corlona was unable to work with the materials provided, and only just escaped the wrath of Frillan. The other elves, were not so lucky. Frillan had a mind for strategy that allowed her to outwit the elves, and conquered them within days.

Corlona swore an oath to end the reign of humans, and aquired a liking for battle that she would keep forever, and pass on to her children. For the past hundred years, she has been training a group of assassins to kill the Emperor of Yrodan, the land in which she now lives.

Only recently has she left her homeland in search of more gifted assassins than she could train in the humans limited lifespan.
