CASM - Auto save software that is less buggy than the games is. And it's programmableNVEC - A bunch of fixes combined into one mod. It comes in several different flavors, the 'Complete' adds a bunch of the most common mods all rolled into one.

I shall note all this but right now I have rescanned with NMM, it finds New Vegas but when I click on the green arrow to confirm the 'found' disappears, also the 'OK' button doeasn't highlight, closing NMM and it says 'No games were detected NMM willnow close. This I don't understand. is this because it is in the same steamapps folder as skyrim? Because it is there I can access it and manually install mods. although it ctd with some.
