CTD During Alternate Start/Riverwood

So, my game doesn't really act unstable at all, it's just whenever I talk to Hadvar while he's on the ground in the cave bc of alternate start when I crash. I also crash when entering riverwood trader. I assumed the former was because I didn't progress in the main story or something, but I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out why my game is acting wonky.
