Khet
Alright so I decided to stop being so lazy (and put everything else I'm working on, on hold for a while) and tried out Blender... pretty simple program to use. After messing around for a bit I decided to edit a vanilla sword (Iron Shortsword) so perhaps that was my first mistake. Anyway, I got all the way to UV mapping without a problem but when I started the mapping things went horribly horribly wrong. It's impossible to explain in words, so here's a pretty picture for you all. Tell me what I did wrong! http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f80/Bakohryu/BlenderUV.jpg Edit: I should probably point out that the long angular part that goes from corner to corner is the entire top part of the blade and the piece in the middle is only the small clump of selected faces JUST above the hilt.
