wfandrews
I just noticed that in my SSE directory there is a Skyrim folder and in that folder is a SkyrimPrefs.ini file. Is that file supposed to be configured to your game? Right now it has these lines: bBorderless=0bFull Screen=0iSize H=1080iSize W=1920 I am playing fullscreen, borderless and my resolution is 2560x1440. Should I change those figures or leave them as is?
AsaHerring
The "skyrimprefs.ini" you will want to edit is the one in "Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition". The skyrimprefs in your install location is typically never touched. I don't actually know when you want to edit it, but the one the game uses is the one in you Documents. I too use a 1440p monitor, and have the same settings as you in my skyrimprefs.ini in my install location, but as long as the skyrimprefs.ini in your Documents is set up properly, then that is the one the game will use. wfandrews
Thank you for your reply. I have learned that those are default settings and that file is not loaded when the game is launched, thus you can pretty much ignore the file.
