Community Manager Dark0ne Posted October 15, 2012 Author Community Manager Posted October 15, 2012 We're going to release a hotfix for the download manager going missing very soon. This never showed up in our internal testing across multiple different computer systems.
keizaalfeyn Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 could you guys add like a mass add mod feature, like when you're adding a mod to the mod manager to the little plus symbol, that says add mod from ... because during my installation of the new version, i clicked on the wrong folder for the nmm, now i have to uninstall all my mods, and add them manually to the new mod manager version
DuskDweller Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) @keizaalfeyn You just need to open NMM, go in the Settings menu (Gears icon), Game tab, change the folder paths to the previous ones you were using, restart NMM. Edited October 15, 2012 by DuskDweller
keizaalfeyn Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 i already move the mods to a temporary folder :( i wish i would have known that before i did all of what i did
Community Manager Dark0ne Posted October 15, 2012 Author Community Manager Posted October 15, 2012 Hot fix released.
LUCR4TiV3 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) My NMM.exe has been detected as a (false positive) by my Avast and keeps getting moved to virus chest. This needs to be fixed A temp work around for this is to add the (C:\Program Files\Nexus Mod Manager) folder to your Avast exclusions in both (File System Shields) and (Avast Main Setting) Edited October 15, 2012 by LUCR4TiV3
PG1 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 @Lucr4tiv3: That's why you can exclude programs. It's not really likely that they even can prevent that, it's just the heuristics of your anti-virus.
veepirate Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 cannot download anything anymore after the hotfix, apparently its not connecting to the server, anyway to rollback?
LUCR4TiV3 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 @PG1 Thanks for letting me know this and i have done a work around with my avast so all is good for now.
